The gods of our universe are grey and dulled, and in their dullness, they conceived the beauty of the world
wow, my religious debates kinda inspired me to make that little "back story" alright, so my grandma on my dad's side(mema) wanted a christmas present. So im like sure, what do you want? and she said a unicorn. Shes religous, so i figured this was a suiting representation of a unicorn. Lets see, to give you an idea of how long it took me to get this done i started....October 21st, and completed it today. D: hehe, i guess making the god a child's merry-go-round is all part of the effect. I kinda based the design from Final Fantasy X's Ixion, but i didnt use references for anything materials: copic markers, cardstock, prismacolor markers, prismacolor colored pencils please critique it oh and because of a suggestion that i could change at this point, I made a better font for the wording :3 edit: I used a texture for the background that was made by Hibbary [link] Comments
at first I though it could be Odin's horse but then again it'd lack the other 4 legs and some more things, then i thought of Ixion and seems like I guessed right but the fact that he's not Ixion actually
I really like the merry-go-round idea -- Fan Art Gallery Moderator Icon by the lovely ^ArtisticAunJuli Founder of #MasterPhotoshop with =Baz135 To Close a forum thread FAQ Very nice. I love all the patterns and details on the horse. The horn is especially unique. I don't think I have seen anything quite like it. The horse lots a bit long but I think I am growing it like that; nice, slender physique. I am not a big fan of how small the angel is though but tha tis simply my opinion. I also would have liked the angel to be more detaied as well I believe. I would either covre th face more with hair or draw in the details of the face, but perhaps you were going for a faceless style which is perfectly fine. I would have at least added the curves of the face though.
oh and I will respond to that journal too when I get a chance. I love talking about religion. I am personally agnostic -- -Kelly clicky clicky!! |
