Resident Good? Nah

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 30, 2009, 8:10 PM
Yes well I've been playing Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles for the wii, and finally beat it! *SPOILERS* I was mad because I felt the plot wasnt complete. Anyone else played it who can help me out on this? Steve wasn't ever looked for, really.(i forgot i didnt watch the last video clip, but it had Manuela in it, so I didnt think it was important xD) I didn't think he was dead since Clair mentioned coming back for him, and some other dude took him(maybe it was the dude on the island that blew up?) but yeah, steve's voice heavily reminded me of something off of those 4Kids TV voice actors(so it was annoying) but his character was pretty cool.*/SPOILER*

Be expecting some fan art ;D I'm almost done with one, and I have another idea for one. I would love having this shirt [link] you know its true! D:<

Other than that I did find a way to do my spray painting. I'll head over to my grandma's house 8D she expressed interest in the type of art, so it was the best place.

I've also decided to voice one of my two ambitions as an artist. Since my dad keeps reminding me how difficult it would be financially to make it as an artist, doing as many mediums as possible would be a great help huh? So that's what I'll try to do: try every medium I can get my hands on. I've already got a headstart. Ceramics, Painting, Markers, Colored Pencil, Pen and Ink, Digital & Traditional Mix, Full Digital, Full Traditional, Semi-realism, Anime, Graphite....and that's all I can get off the top of my head. And there are plenty of other applications for art, from animation, to acting, to car body detailing! I dont think artistic jobs will ever run out

Oh yeah and played Silent Hill? Watch some Noisy Hill. It's a wonder how anyone can play that game and come up with a parody. I havent even had the guts to make it to Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2

As a last note: Soul Eater has been so amazing and I only have a little art for it! That's ridiculous, so I will try to get some more stuff out. My contest picture is getting closer and closer to completion. It's a behemoth

The Holiday Spirit

Journal Entry: Sun Dec 27, 2009, 6:34 PM
I know it's that wonderful time of year when little kids are the most insane things out there and people should feel all warm inside. I'm just not in that great a mood this year. I feel I can't keep up with my friends these days and I have no business typing a journal since I have some difficulty answering my mail(but I DO read it, everything). I have great gifts from wonderful people and I did my very best to give back everything that they wanted.

I was pissed today when we were making a trip to target and I wanted to buy some spray paint. It's not for graffiti or anything but I've seen these amazing landscapes done with the spray. I thought I should give it a try. But my dad told me I couldnt have it because I'm not good with regular paint(or at least I've never tried). The traditional art I already do is similar to paints, and it was the first time there was ever a cap on what I could do as an artist. Painting is completely different from spray in my opinion, and I'm wondering, if I'm going to try to be an artist one day, why is it so unreasonable to want to expand my talent?

I've just been feeling incredibly irritable what with the flaky people I choose to associate with, the people who think spray painting is dangerous, and the overall lack of communication with a few of my friends(or lack of wanting to communicate with me)...it's a horrible feeling and I know I'll get over it, feeling stupid for typing this in the first place. It's just a rant of everything I don't verbalize because I dont like to be direct with people I'm upset with(unless it gets really bad, then I dont care xD)

Choosing a College

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 1, 2009, 4:38 PM
It seemed like a total drag every time a college sent me an email, so all last year up till yesterday, I ignored most of it. But I know eventually I had to think about it, so why not? I actually looked at the email and filled out the quizzes and such. It's the first time I was actually excited about trying to figure out what I can do. I still have no clue what I want to major in, or what my options should be, but I'm starting to explore. I either want to stick with art of some form, or some kind of science(medical, applied sciences etc).

What is everyone else looking for in a college? I know that the field trips(not had one since 6th grade) and amazing clubs are some of the things I really want(Rensselear has a tether ball club, and it looks like paint ball too).
I just dont like the idea of dorms >:/ I like my privacy and I wanna be able to do homework alone and then go out and find people to do stuff with.

Life is too Short

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2009, 11:54 AM
and I dont have enough time for it.

whats been up with me?
Well, over the weekend I procrastinated my homework and contests by going to see 2012 TWICE! The first time I cried like a little baby because I can put myself into people's shoes, and I do that quite a bit. But I get so much more meaning out of movies.

Attempted to join yet another contest, that made 3. But I dont think I was chosen to participate. The city of Phoenix is having an art revolution and the New Times will allow 50 artists to paint on their newspaper racks. I dont think I made it, but I did draw a picture in case I did. I'll color it and put it up sometime. Other than that, I joined the Sister Cities art contest, and the dream Deviart contest(I think I wont finish in time though)

Whats up with you people?
Christmaaaass is coming up. So tell me, what have you guys been wanting? Any Kind of art? hints? c'mon! How about an art feature?

What was That?

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 4, 2009, 5:43 PM
I have some totally(possible retarded) questions. Well, I still am not very experienced in the field of art theft, so I gotta ask, is redrawing a picture([link]) and then posting it([link])without kudos to the original artist still theft? I don't know if they're claiming it as their own but they changed the pose very slightly. Essentially it's the same picture. I'm begging you not to flood them with angry comments because I think I should be the one to handle it. They actually don't mention anything about who owns what and I'm not sure if he had to ask the original artist in order to redraw it and post it, thats a very grey area for me. So should I report the pic and get it taken down, or ask them to say (c)artgerm??
